What We Do

The Recycling Organisation for Research Opportunities - RORO for short - recycles redundant scientific analytical instrumentation by redistributing it to academic institutions in the developing world.

We offer a comprehensive not-for-profit recycling service that includes full compliance with the latest WEEE directive, your company’s legal obligations will be covered and we will accept legal liability for analytical instrumentation donated upon completion of a simple health and safety declaration.

Any equipment donated is serviced and tested and we arrange shipping and installation at universities that can really benefit in countries that do not have access to essential research equipment.
