RORO offers a comprehensive fuss-free not-for-profit recycling service including: collection; onsite data erasure and; assumption of all legal liabilities for equipment. We work with Re-Cyclers Organisation Ltd, a Liverpool based recycling firm that holds a waste management licence issued by the Environment Agency that permits the recycling of Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Reuse is the best form of recycling and by donating your old analytical instruments to RORO you can meet all your legal obligations and provide students in the developing world with new economic and research opportunities.

Donated equipment will never go to waste:

• Our facility is hosted in a large WEEE recycling facility; if any equipment donated could not be made to function then we have easy access to breakdown the WEEE for further processing.
• RORO are specialists in recycling sophisticated scientific analytical instrumentation; we are constantly looking for new ways of recycling WEEE. Re-use is the best method of recycling but we are also interested in research into new ways of extracting precious raw materials from various other WEEE feedstocks such as printed circuit boards.
